Introducing Note to Self!

I'm a parent, and as a parent, I feel strongly that a mother shouldn't play favorites with her children. But when it comes to papercrafting supplies, I just can't help myself. This month we're releasing our new collection "Note to Self" and I feel no guilt in saying it's one of my favorites. (Of course I always feel that way when I see a new Echo Park Paper release.)

This collection is bold, with strong graphic icons and hip details. I also love the vintage, 70's color scheme. Makes me think of those tan corduroy pants I totally rocked as a child.

I wanted to share some of my "favorite" (there's that word again) pieces in this collection. First off would have to be the "Element Sticker" sheet. This sheet is covered in cool images that get my creative juices flowing:

I have a feeling that the "Viewmaster" patterned paper will turn out to be one of the more popular papers in this collection. Tell me you didn't have one of these toys as a child. Perhaps you have one buried in your child's toybox right now! It's just too cool not to love it:

I also am a sucker for the "Borders" patterned paper because I love a paper that gives me lot to work with, and this paper certainly does just that:

I can't neglect to mention the "Alpha Sticker" sheet. Lori Whitlock, the graphic designer who designed this line, always knows how to pile on cool details on her sticker sheets. While you might initially just notice the alphabet stickers, be sure to check out the tag and border strips contained on this sheet as well:
